		SEWER RETICULATION Draper's Civil Contracting Pty Ltd specialises in construction of sewer lines at depth in variable ground conditions. Installation includes pipes ranging in sizes from property service lines at 100mm dia up to major 2100mm dia Trunk Sewer lines. The types of pipe materials that we have installed include PVC, VC, HDPE, Hobas, Concrete and Steel. We also have expertise in dewatering projects which require the installation of services below the watertable. To undertake the above works, we have an extensive range of trench shields, manhole boxes and shoring systems. Completed Projects Torquay to Blackrock Sewer Main Replacement Construction of 9.6km of 660mm MSCL pipeline. Outfall Sewer Cross Connection - Client: Barwon Water. This project involved the construction of approx 3.0km of 525mm and 600mm Hobas pressure pipe from MacIntyre Bridge to the centre of the Geelong Racecourse along Barwon Terrace including the crossing of Moorabool Street. Ocean Grove to Black Rock Rising Main - Client: Barwon Water. Installation of approx. 2.3km of sewer pipeline comprising:- East end - 1300m of 480 DN pipe from Tuckfield Street sewage pump station to the eastern end of the surf beach car park at Presidents Avenue. West end 700m of 600 DN pipe from the western end of the car park at Sweetman Parade to part-way along the sand spit. This section was constructed, tested and commissioned in two sections and included the installation of temporary by-pass pipelines. A section of the works included Horizontal Directional Drilling for 280mm in length beneath a cliff face. Southern Ovoid Sewer - Client: Barwon Water. This project involved the construction of Stage 1 of the Southern Ovoid Sewer Replacement. Reinforced plastilined concrete, 1500, 1650 and 1950 mm nominal diameter sewer pipes were constructed at varying depths. The location of the pipeline construction works extended from near the centre of the Geelong Racecourse to Leather Street, Breakwater. There was also a section of the pipeline from private property extending across the Barwon Heads Road to Reserve Road Marshall. A section of the works included 1800mm Pipe Jacking 140m long. A major component of the works involved by-pass pumping of sewerage flows as high as 1000Lt/sec. Queenscliff Military Base - Client: Department of Defence. Installation of one major sewer pumping station and six minor pumping stations. Construction of a 3.0km length of 110mm poly rising main.
